The Health Promotion Board is holding a Parent Programme “Love Them. Talk About Sex.” at Soka Culture Centre in March. Details as follows:
Date: 8 March 2009, SundayTime: 4pm to 5:30pm
Venue: Soka Culture Centre (Jurong West St 76)
Target Audience: Parents with Children aged 10 to 17 years old (From Primary Division and Future Division)
Language: English
Aim of the programme is to educate parents on how to talk to their children about sexuality. Learn about how to broach the difficult subject of sexuality with your children. Learn to establish trust, ask the right questions, and to offer the right advice. There will be s skit followed by a talk and Q & A conducted by a social worker. This programme will be conducted in English.
Please note that children are not allowed at the event.
As this programme is organised by HPB and subjected to the availability of the performers, it could only be held on 8 March which is also the same day with the Study Meeting of some districts. Please give your fullest support to the Study Meetings. SSA will continue to work with partners to hold parenting talks in the future.
